After a rigorous evaluation process, five outstanding research groups have been chosen to receive LoopCap™-based Custom Designed NGS Panels for their innovative projects.

- Megan Dennis, Ph.D., University of California Davis. “To connect gene mutations with phenotypes, we [are] genotyping for indels leading to loss-of-function alleles at targeted CRISPR sites…using a custom panel from Molecular Loop.”
- Daryn Erickson, Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen North). “The goal of the proposed project is to determine the distribution of this [insect-specific flavivirus], which could have downstream implications for understanding risk of pathogenic viruses.”
- Jason Ladner, Ph.D., Northern Arizona University. “We’re really excited to use Molecular Loop’s LoopCap™ technology to help us better understand coronavirus circulation in North American bats”
- Billy Lau, Ph.D., Stanford University School of Medicine Ji Research Group, Division of Oncology. “We are interested in applying Molecular Loop’s technology to monitor longitudinal trends in the cell-free DNA of cancer patients.”
- Tanner Porter, Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen North). “We are using the Molecular Loop technology to understand how RSV circulates in the state of Arizona across space and time.”
